Beautiful Mind

In 2010 Harvard University found that “In conclusion, a human mind is a wandering mind and a wandering mind is an unhappy mind.  The ability to think about what is not happening is a cognitive achievement that comes at an emotional cost”.  

Mindfulness is very difficult for us to achieve because we spend most of our waking hours thinking about something other than what we are doing.  Thesewandering thoughts are unhappy or worrisome and, for the most part, from our subconscious mind.  Read more in Bruce Lipton, Ph.D. book, The Honeymoon Effect (brucelipton.com).

That is unbelievable to me but when I began to pay attention, it realized how my mind was traveling here and there and a lot of it was stinkin thinkin as we use to say in the real estate biz.   I decided to become aware of my train of thought and look into some of Lipton’s suggestions to change this pattern.  As you can guess this process is about more than love and romance.
